Resignation of Chairman

The Management Committee of MAB Juniors have reluctantly accepted the resignation of Darren Worrall (Chairman) from the committee. We are however pleased to say he will be continuing as coach for the Under 13’s. Darren has been on the Committee from the very beginning, and has been unfailing in his support of the club. He has put in considerable time and effort to ensure the club has grown and survived during the last few years.  His knowledge and dedication to the club have helped make the MAB Juniors the club they are today. The Club and Committee will miss him, and wish him all the best.

Appointment of New Chairman

Unfortunately Darren’s resignation means that we will need a new Chairman at the AGM scheduled for July. Until then David Rochford (Vice Chair) will be acting Chairman. As we have recently achieved Clubmark the appointment of anyone on the Management Committee now requires more formality and rules than previously. Any member of the club can put themselves forward (Member is any player over 16 or if under 16 their parents/legal guardian).  We will let you have more details in the May and June Newsletters.
